Driver Overview:
The Intel PCI Express Root Port driver is a system driver that ensures proper communication between your processor's PCIe interface and the operating system. Without the correct driver, you may experience hardware issues such as unrecognized devices, slow performance, or crashes. The driver typically comes as part of a larger Intel Chipset Driver Package, which includes drivers for various chipset components.
1. Download the Latest Driver

- Download the latest version of the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility or package. This package will install the necessary drivers for all Intel chipset components, including the PCIe Root Port.

2. Install the Driver

- After installation is complete, you may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
3. Verify Driver Installation
- After restarting, you can verify that the driver has been correctly installed:
- Device Manager: Open Device Manager by pressing

and selecting Device Manager.
- Look for System Devices and expand the section.
