The driver is a software package that supports Crystal Semiconductor's SoundFusion audio hardware components, commonly used in older sound cards or audio chips in personal computers. Crystal Semiconductor (now a part of Cirrus Logic) developed the SoundFusion line of audio solutions, which were used to provide high-quality audio output and input capabilities in consumer PCs, especially around the late 1990s to early 2000s.
