The is a Windows device driver for the System Management Bus (SMBus) controller on Intel processors from the 6th and 7th generation (often referred to as Skylake and Kaby Lake, respectively). The SMBus is a communication protocol used for low-speed system management tasks such as temperature monitoring, fan control, and battery monitoring, as well as other management-related features on your system's motherboard.

This specific driver is associated with the Intel Chipset on laptops or mobile devices equipped with 6th or 7th generation Intel processors. The driver ensures that your Windows operating system can correctly communicate with the hardware components related to the SMBus, enabling proper functionality of the motherboard and associated system management features.

What the Driver Does:
