The ASUS Touchpad Windows driver is software that allows your ASUS laptop's touchpad to communicate properly with the Windows operating system. It ensures that features like tapping, scrolling, multi-finger gestures, and adjusting sensitivity work smoothly. Without the proper driver, your touchpad might not work or function incorrectly, so it's important to install the correct driver for optimal performance.
How to Install the ASUS Touchpad Driver:
Method 1: Using Windows Update (Automatic Installation)
-
Check for Windows Updates:
- Go to Settings ? Update & Security ? Windows Update.
- Click on Check for Updates. If an update for the touchpad driver is available, it will be downloaded and installed automatically.
-
Reboot your system:
- After installation, restart your laptop to apply the changes.
Method 2: Download and Install from the ASUS Support Website

Search for Your Laptop Model:

Download the Driver:
- Click on the Download button next to the correct touchpad driver.
-
