Steps to Install Microsoft Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio Device Driver
To install or update the Microsoft Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio device driver on Windows, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled on Your PC
- Open Settings by pressing

- Go to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, and your device is discoverable.
2. Pair the Bluetooth Device

3. Check for Driver Installation

4. Manually Install or Update Drivers (if necessary)

- Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Open Sound settings.
- Under Output, select your Bluetooth device from the drop-down list.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Bluetooth issues: If the driver is not working as expected, you can try re-pairing the Bluetooth device, turning Bluetooth off and on again, or running the Bluetooth Troubleshooter (Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Bluetooth).
- Driver issues: If the Microsoft Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio device driver is causing problems, you might want to uninstall it and allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically. To do this, right-click on the device in Device Manager and choose Uninstall device, then restart your PC.
