The Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller - 1E02 is a driver for the storage controller on your computer's motherboard. How to Install the Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller - 1E02 Driver:

  1. Check the current version of the driver:

    • Before installing, ensure you have the most up-to-date driver. To do this, go to Device Manager:
      • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
      • Expand the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" or "Storage controllers" section.
      • Right-click on Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller and select Properties.

  2. Download the latest driver:

  5. Manual Installation (Device Manager):
